Advancing Adolescent-Responsive HIVCare ThroughCommunity-Facility-Led Partnerships in Zambia, Kenya, and Tanzania

Adolescents and young people (AYP) across sub-Saharan Africa continue to face significant barriers in accessing quality HIV and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) self-care services. Many facilities struggle to provide youth-friendly spaces, and young people continue to experience healthcare provider stigma, risks to confidentiality, and fragmented health systems.

The You(th) Care project, implemented in Kenya, Tanzania, and Zambia, strengthens youth–clinic partnerships through participatory scorecards used to monitor service quality and drive adolescent-responsive improvements.
