Boost is a free digital job aide for community health workers, peer educators, and other frontline health practitioners, brought to you by Avert. It provides easy to use, engaging materials to enhance your knowledge and skills, boost your confidence, and help build trust with your clients. Boost enables you to share accurate and actionable HIV, sexual and reproductive health, and other primary health information with your clients and communities. It’s a quick and convenient way for you to stay up-to-date and have the information you need to hand throughout your day. Boost’s fun and interactive tools can also be used in meetings with clients, and shared with clients and peers via WhatsApp.
Boost provides easy, up-to-date, visual, and interactive materials on:
- HIV prevention, testing, and treatment
- Having children and HIV
- Sex and relationships – including consent, sexuality, STIs and healthy relationships
- Staying healthy – mental health, TB, NCDs, drugs and alcohol
- Living with HIV
- Female genital schistosomiasis
- COVID-19
