Guidelines for African States to protect the rights of women and girls during the COVID-19 pandemic

Basic Psychosocial Skills: A Guide for COVID-19 Responders

This guide, by Women’s Link Worldwide, Amnesty International and IPPF African Region,  is a roadmap for national and local government authorities and agencies, as well as sub-regional and regional organisations, to better understand the obligations they must fulfil. The guide helps duty bearers ensure that minorities, internally displaced persons (IDPs), vulnerable, marginalized and disadvantaged communities have access to basic rights and freedoms in the context of COVID-19. While it doesn’t cover all State obligations under international human rights law, it does focus on some  aspects of the crisis which differentially and disproportionately impact women and girls.
