The World Health Organisation (WHO) is developing updated guidelines for HIV treatment and care. One of these recommendations is about task-shifting ART initiation and maintenance for children from doctors to nurses.
WHO recognises that you are on the frontlines of the HIV response. To help them to develop the guidance, the WHO wants to hear YOUR views: Are nurses managing ART for children in your health facility? What prevents this from happening? What needs to change?
To answer these questions, PATA will be holding virtual consultations with doctors and nurses from 7-18 September 2020. Each 90-minute consultation will include 12 health providers and take place on WhatsApp or Zoom in English or French. If you are a doctor or nurse working in Africa and would like to take part, please get in touch with PATA before Friday 28 August 2020.
We have so much to learn from you – please take the time to share your views with us!
