Global Fund Technical Assistance

In response to the Global Fund’s strategy to strengthen civil society and community engagement, Paediatric-Adolescent Treatment Africa (PATA), Y+ Global and the Uganda Network of Young People living with HIV/AIDS (UNYPA) formed a consortium that will assist local African organisations working in HIV service delivery, to take part in Global Fund programmes and benefits.

Our consortium is ideally positioned to provide technical assistance (TA) to networks of people living with HIV (PLHIV), civil society organisations (CSOs) and community-based organisations (CBOs) implementing HIV programmes focusing on human rights, gender, community responses and community systems strengthening, paediatric and adolescent HIV service delivery, treatment, and care.

The fundamental objective of the short-term technical assistance is to support networks of people living with HIV (PLHIV), community based organisations (CBOs) and civil society groups to not only engage in oversight and monitoring of the implementation of national strategies and plans, but to ensure that they receive the tools needed for their funding requests, reflect and respond to the realities and needs associated with human rights, gender, community responses and community systems strengthening, in line with Global Fund processes.

Should you require support with your application process, email: cmodi@yplusglobal.org

We look forward to an influx of organisations applying, so we can support you peer-to-peer and ensure that YPLHIV and women living with HIV (WLHIV) directly contribute to Global Fund programmes in their countries.
