Hatita Silvério Nanchuachua
Field Officer for KULEA – Mozambique
Hatita currently serves as a Field Officer for the KULEA project in Mozambique. Her journey into healthcare began during her high school years when she volunteered with the Geração Bizz initiative, inspired by her student association’s encouragement. This early experience sparked a lifelong interest in healthcare and community well-being. After earning her degree in Nutrition from Universidade Lúrio (UniLúrio) in Nampula, Hatita gained hands-on experience working in community settings. Her work has focused on addressing critical issues such as gender-based violence, early pregnancy, and the role of religion and culture in advancing women’s development.
Outside her professional work, Hatita maintains a love for reading and writing—interests that trace back to her childhood dreams of becoming a historian.
